If you go to the Abeka store online, it doesn’t take long to realize…it’s overwhelming. At first, I was, then after I spent a few days looking over it, I decided what books I wanted and which ones I thought we could do without. It turned out some things I could do without and some I ordered later because I saw how needed it was.

By this list, I’m not suggesting my choices from the Abeka homeschool curriculum packages are the best, but I’m offering it as a way to lessen the confusion for someone starting out with Abeka.

Everything on this list has been well used. There’s nothing on this list that was unnecessary. On the other side of that, there’s nothing extra I needed from Abeka to teach the lessons in the parent kit.

It is expensive as you can see. I know I could get it used and I just might do that next year but I still feel so new at homeschooling I wanted to get everything new, straight from Abeka.
